Why Most Fat Loss Diet Plans Fail

Ninety eight percent of fat loss diet plans fail as a result of 3 main reasons as we show below.
1) 98% of fat loss diet plans fail because they conform to our times, rather than the way our bodies work.
Centuries ago, reliable food sources were unavailable, and hence, our bodies are still designed for hunting and gathering and for times when there was scarcity of food. These were times when there were no food-filled refrigerators 10 feet away, and one couldn't stop at a drive-thru on the way home. In fact, our ancestors had to work very hard to find food; the alternative was not eating at all. At times, they would have to exist on very little or no nutrition.
Many a times when food was scarce, for them to survive, their bodies had to find a way to make it through such periods of scarcity. To get by, their metabolisms slowed down and their bodies stored calories as fat when food was plentiful; they could then use this as a back-up energy source when meals were few and far in between. While most of us living in the developed world no longer need this survival mechanism, it still remains.
Hence, when we begin a diet that requires restricting our calories, this survival mechanism kicks in and undermines the entire plan. In the process, you end up burning less fat and storing more of it, because your metabolism will slow down as a natural response. Even worse, you waste away much of your lean muscle tissue.
2) 98% of fat loss diet plans fail because they make you feel hungrier.
Fat loss diet plans that restrict calorie intake will leave you feeling hungrier, with a constantly growling in your stomach and subsequent discomfort. This will make i more likely for you to start snacking on bad foods.
How can you possibly lose weight and keep it off when you're on fat loss diet plans that are so difficult to maintain and eventually doomed to fail?
3) 98% of fat loss diet plans fail because reasons 1 and 2 set you up for disaster.
Once you stop following these low-calorie fat loss diet plans, you're in for another unfortunate surprise.
Your fat loss diet has trained your body to store more fat instead of burning it. The moment you resume eating normally, you will find that gaining weight will have become a much faster process than it was. ("yo-yo dieting")
Unfortunately, even the weight you lost, if any, when you were on such fat loss diet plans was mostly that of retained water and lean muscle mass. You might have lost weight, but not body fat.
With all these factors involved, it's no surprise that 98% of fat loss diet plans fail.
